The Mogaji of Akinsola’s compound, Labiran, Ibadan, Mogaji Olawale Oladoja has called on former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose to accord same respect he gives to Ekiti state paramount ruler, Ewi of Ado Ekiti to the Olubadan of Ibadanland and stop disparaging the Olubadan stool with his unbecoming utterances.
Oladoja stated this while reacting to comments made by Fayose aftermath the electoral victory of Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Saturday.
Oladoja, who is also a stalwart of APM in the state, described the comment by the former governor as ridiculous and disrespectful that no true indigenes of Ibadan would be comfortable with such statement.
He said Fayose is already a sinking politician in the country, and he’s only looking for co-conspirators to sink with but must never align his insane position with that of revered monarch of Ibadan.
“Can Fayose address the Ewi of Ado in such manner? Can he make such unguarded comments about his own paramount King, the Ewi of Ado, the way he has been referring to our king?
“I’m indeed ashamed of Ayo Fayose who can not win for his party but rather sold out his party for a plate of porridge even after being a two term governor on the platform of the PDP
“Governor Seyi Makinde remains our apex leader. We all love him and appreciate him. We will always be with him and also support him.
“For us, the most important thing is that he should stop relegating our father. Olubadan has been a Senator of the Federal Republic, a governor and now a revered royal father. So Fayose never has what it takes to equate himself with Olubadan.”
Meanwhile, Oladoja has called on the Oyo state government to immediately begin the probe of former Governor Ayo Fayose property in Oyo State.
Oladoja explained that this becomes important so as to bring to the public opinion that Fayose is not what he’s claiming to be.
He said many times that the former governor has painted people in bad light behaving as if he’s the most righteous and holy.
“I want to call on the Oyo State Government to immediately set up a probe panel for Gov Fayose and some of his acclaimed property across Ibadan.”
