Nigeria, UK Security Chiefs Hold Dialogue To Strengthen Defence Cooperation
Waidi Shaibu, chief of army staff (COAS), on Tuesday joined top Nigerian security leaders at the fourth Nigeria-United Kingdom security and defence partnership dialogue in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
According to Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency publication focused on the Lake Chad region, the high-level meeting was attended by Nuhu Ribadu, national security adviser (NSA), Olufemi Oluyede, chief of defence staff (CDS), Tunji Disu, inspector-general of police (IGP), service chiefs, and other senior security stakeholders.
