The APC Support Groups Council, Ogun State on Sunday congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) and members of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council on the constitution of the campaign structure ahead of the 2027 general election.
The Council, in a release signed by his state coordinator, Lekan Shobo Shobowale, described the composition of the council as a great step towards mobilising Nigerians for the President’s re-election
In a statement, the council congratulated Rt. Hon. Isiaq Abiodun Akinlade, on his appointment as Zonal Coordinator, Presidential Campaign Council in charge of support groups coordination in the Southwest.
It said that it believes the lawmaker will ensure the link between the national campaign structure and mobilisation of support groups across the Southwest.
It added that his leadership is important in ensuring robust partnerships and collaboration with support groups across the southwest.
The council said it has already begun its work in the various wards and pooling units, stressing that the real contest would be fought at the grassroots.
The council praised the APC leadership for what it described as a broad campaign structure capable of reaching different regions and political constituencies.
It also commends the quality leadership of the Deputy Director-General, APC Support Groups Council, SouthWest, Hon Adewale Adeogun, who he described as pace setter and Pathfinder.
