Eid-El-Fitr: Olaoluwa Felicitates With Muslim Faithfuls
The Atayese of Fiditi and 2027 Oyo State governorship hopeful, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi has extended warm congratulations to Muslims in Oyo State on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of Ramadan.
In a statement released through his media office in Ibadan, Olaoluwa expressed gratitude to Allah for enabling the faithful to observe the month-long fast, highlighting their commitment, perseverance, and resilience.
Olaoluwa, popularly called OPA, called on Muslims to imbibe on lessons learnt during the holy month and use them as measures of their daily living.
He emphasised virtues such as charity, humility, peace, forgiveness, love, and sacrifice, which are all lessons learnt in the last one month.
OPA urged the faithful to use the period of Eid to pray for an end to the myriad of challenges confronting the nation and his people.
He stressed the need for people to continue to pray for their leaders all levels, seeking wisdom and guidance to ensure just governance and the creation of a fair and egalitarian society.
