The Ogun State Coordinator, APC Support Group Council, Lekan Shobo Shobowale, on Sunday predicted a landslide victory for the ruling party in the 2027 general elections across the country.
Shobowale made this declaration in Abeokuta while featuring on Fresh FM, Abeokuta live interview programme tagged ‘Agbami Oselu” and anchored by Adeyinka Adegbite popularly called Omo baba tisa.
He said APC is fully prepared for the 2027 election with various support groups coming together under support groups council platforms to work for the party.
He insisted that Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda had widened political participation for women and youths, adding that the administration’s policies aligned with growing demands for inclusive leadership.
He called on the people of Ogun state to be patient for the state government under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun as many developmental programmes are on the pipeline for the people.
“I want to appreciate your dedication and encourage you to remain consistent in taking the message of the APC to every community, Ogun State,”
The support group coordinator also met with some members of the council at Olomore area of the state where he counselled them to be more proactive and contribute effectively to the success of the party.
In the meantime, the coordinator of the council Lekan Shobo Shobowale narrowly escaped death by whisker when the branded Sienna car he was travelling in ran into a ditch.
He was later rescued by some road users unhurt and has been taken to medical facility along the road for immediate attention and treatment.
