ICAOSA Holds 2026 Annual General Meeting, Inaugurates New Executive Council
The 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Ibadan City Academy Old Students’ Association (ICAOSA) was successfully held, culminating in the inauguration of a new Executive Council to pilot the affairs of the association for the 2026–2028 tenure. The event was marked by reflections on past achievements, appreciation for dedicated service, and renewed commitment to the continued growth and development of the association.
In his farewell address, the outgoing President General, Mr Tunde Akintunde, expressed profound appreciation to his predecessors, members, and stakeholders for their unwavering support throughout his administration. He charged the newly inaugurated executives to work in unity, uphold the ideals of ICAOSA, and collectively advance the association to greater heights.
In his acceptance speech, the new President General, Alhaji Ismaila Aderemi Bello, commended the outgoing leadership for its commitment, dedication, and remarkable contributions to the progress of ICAOSA. He pledged that his administration would build on the existing foundation by prioritizing the association’s growth and development while fostering unity among members. He also appealed for the continued support and cooperation of all members, stressing that collective efforts would ensure the success of the new administration.
