“Why Osun APC May Lose 2026 Governorship Election” – Omisore
Former National secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Iyiola Omisore has kicked against his disqualification.
Omisore in one of its social media platform stated thatif not well managed, the party may loose the coming guber election in the state.
“Today, I appeared before the Osun State Screening Appeal Committee, despite not having received any formal notification personally addressed to me by either the Screening Committee or the All Progressives Congress.
The reason circulating on social media, alleging failure to be nominated by financial members of the party is completely untrue, malicious, embarrassing, and clearly crafted to justify a predetermined outcome.
Addressing the press, alongside the six other aspirants who were purportedly disqualified, we warned that the imposition of a lackey as the party’s candidate poses a grave risk to our chances in the 2026 election. If this injustice is not urgently corrected, it may spell serious consequences for our party’s future in the state.
Before the Committee, I earnestly appealed for a thorough review of the Screening Committee’s decision and for the provision of an appropriate and just remedy. – IOO
