University of Ibadan Announces Ayorinde, Others As Professor
The University of Ibadan has announced the promotion of its pioneer Head, Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Computing (a newly created faculty in 2025), University of Ibadan, Ibiyinka Temilola Ayorinde to the rank of professor.
The promotion is to strengthen the University of Ibadan academic leadership across various departments and reflect the University’s continued effort to bolster its faculties.
Professor Ibiyinka Temilola AYORINDE is a Professor of Computer Science in University of Ibadan.
She was also the Head, Department of Computer Science between 2020 and 2022. Prior to these periods, she has held many administrative posts in her department and faculty.
She has taught and supervised many undergraduate and postgraduate students.
With her teaching experience spanning over twenty years, she has received many awards and commendation letter. She reviews scholarly articles for various local and international journals and conferences and serves as an external examiner for postgraduate examinations within and outside the country.
