Oyo PDP Chieftain, Adepoju Felicitates Makinde, Ladoja on Sun Awards
A Stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State, Dr Laolu Adepoju, has congratulated Gov. Seyi Makinde on honour conferred on him by The Sun Newspapers.
In a statement, signed by Adepoju and made available to journalists in Ibadan, Adepoju stated that Governor Makinde won Sun Political Personality of the Year, because of the sterling quality in the party both at the state and national level.
He said award testified to his purposeful leadership, people-centred governance, and infrastructural transformation in the state. He added that such recognitions encourage public office holders to continue to ensure effective service delivery.
Also, Adepoju who was a former Chairman, Alliance for Democracy in Oyo State, extended congratulatory message to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja who was also honoured with a lifetime achievement award.
Adepoju also used the occasion to congratulate the governor on the successful outing during the Oyo at 50 grand celebration.
