..caution Nigerians to stop blaming President Tinubu
A one time lawmaker in Oyo state, Honourable Ibraheem Bolomope has urged Nigerians to stop blaming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the current hardship being witnessed in the country.
Bolomope stated this while featuring on Ibadan based Melody FM political programme, tagged “Oselu Awara.”
The lawmaker who was a former Chairman, Nigeria Union of Teachers, Oyo State chapter stated that rather, they should ask their governors what they do with the lump sum allocated to their states and Local government monthly.
According Bolomope, “Tinubu is fulfilling his promises to ensure a better living standard for the masses after the removal of the fuel subsidy by giving increased monthly allocations to the LG and state government, but the governors failed to remit the LG allocation to the appropriate quarters”.
He explained that Tinubu’s policies are masses friendly, but the governors are thwarting it, adding that the effect is the current hardship being witnessed across the country. ”
He said that “if the LG allocation is being remitted to them, it will be their responsibility to take care of the masses in the rural areas and the development we are all craving for will be uniform.
He particularly disclosed that Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde, led government in the state is only running a government for the elitist, which is why the masses are suffering. “
