Oyo APC Will Be Back To Agodi Government House In 2027 – Ope Salami
As the 2027 governorship election draws near, a former chairman, Akinyele Local government, Hon Ope Salami, says the All Progressives Congress (APC) will be back to the oyo state government house, Agodi Ibadan.
Ope Salami gave this assurance while featuring a political programme on an Ibadan based radio station ,Melody FM, Bashorun Ibadan recently.
Salami, who is also a stalwart of APC in Oyo state, said the loss of the party during the governorship party in the last Saturday election should not be used as criteria or yardstick for the 2027 elections.
He disclosed that many avoidable factors contributed to the loss of the APC candidate Murphy Olatunji which the party leadership both at the state and at the centre is seriously working on to resolve so that it won’t be carried over to the 2027.
He added that Governor Seyi Makinde should not be overhyped because of the PDP success as politics give beyond winning a House of Representatives election of the fourteen across Oyo state.
Salami said the ruling party will get his heart together before 2027, and PDP will be sent packing in 2027.
