Oyo @ 50: Olaoluwa Pays Tribute To Lam, Ladoja, Ajimobi, Other Founding Fathers
The Atayese of Fiditi, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi popularly called OPA on Tuesday congratulated Oyo State on its 50th anniversary.
Olaoluwa, a 2027 governorship aspirant in the state sent his congratulatory message through his media office and made available to journalists in Ibadan.
OPA described Oyo State as truly a pace setting worthy of its historical place in the country which has made its mark in the sands of time which is a testimony to the collective progress of the people of the state.
Olaoluwa paid tributes to notable sons and daughters of the state whose legacies laid a strong foundation for Oyo’s development.
He described Oyo as fortunate to have an educated and enlightened population as well as leaders committed to the welfare of the people. Olaoluwa reflected on various challenges at the time of Oyo’s creation and expressed gratitude to God for the progress recorded over the past five decades.
