RE:FAILURE OF OYO STATE APC IN IBADAN NORTH AUGUST 16th HOR ELECTION
YOUR EXCELLENCY SIR:
My name is AZEEZ ADEWOLU POPOOLA GBADEGESIN DANIJO ADEDUNTAN -ONISILE-an IBADAN BORN Harvard trained board certified international cardiovascular surgeon.
I am also the OSI BASORUN OF IBADAN LAND ,and a PRINCE OF OYO ALAFIN ONISILE ( ATINGISI HOUSE)-the 25th ALAFIN OF OYO EMPIRE.
I write to you as a patriot who wants you to succeed in your renewed hope agenda as tacitly expressed by this aphorism below

I am a chieftain of OYO STATE APC since 2014 to date.
I have served meritoriously as commissioner of health in OYO STATE under late GOVERNOR AJIMOBI from 2017 to 2019.
I have been a vetted and cleared APC ASPIRANT FOR GOVERNORSHIP OF OYO STATE in 2019,2023
and hopefully in 2027;spending huge sums of personal money .
In essence,your excellency I am an APC gladiator,not a back bencher.
Your excellency,the loss of the election in IBADAN NORTH on august 16th was avoidable.
The loss was not attributable to a single person,but SYSTEMIC PROBLEMS in OYO.APC and NATIONAL APC.
The systemic problems in OYO APC ;as well as National APC are poor leadership at all levels ,IMPOSITION OF
CANDIDATES and POOR REWARDS SYSTEM.
Your excellency,IMPOSITION of candidates led to our losses in 2019 and 2023 ,in the GOVERNORSHIP race using PHANTOM PRIMARIES and delegate lists.
I was one of the cleared aspirants on both occasions.
Same with august 16th 2025,IBADAN NORTH House of Representatives
Election.
To date ,none of the cleared Gubernatorial aspirants in OYO STATE in 2023 ;as well as 2019 have been rewarded including the flag bearer
and my good self ,whereas
back benchers in OYO APC have been rewarded despite spending huge amounts of money.
Politics as you know your excellency ;is about service and interest.They are intricately interwoven anywhere in the world.
Your excellency,OYO STATE (IBADAN)is the capital of YORUBA as well as SOUTH WEST POLITICS .
Imposition of candidates and poor rewards system will not work in OYO STATE POLITICS.
We are politically savvy.
You excellency needs OYO STATE APC now and for 2027 elections.
Your excellency Without mincing words ,and genuflecting,Your administration had neglected OYO APC compared to the other GEOPOLITICAL ZONES in your rewards system.
Your excellency,you defeated VP ATIKU by a handful of votes in OYO STATE in 2023,but for our efforts,you would have lost OYO state ,whereas you lost OSHUN STATE to him.
IBADAN NORTH HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ELECTION LOSS MUST NOT BE DISREGARDED as “a storm in a tea cup”.
IT was a calamity (12-0).
In my profession (SURGERY)-it is similar to what we call “herald bleeding “from an ulcer.
That surgeon ;if he knows what he is doing,must intervene immediately to prevent impending massive bleeding.
The loss is a signal that OYO STATE APC IS BLEEDING ;and needs corrective measures immediately:as evidenced below;
STOP IMPOSITION AT ALL LEVELS,
REWARD those that CONTRIBUTED TO YOUR SUCCESS
Ensure free ,fair and credible primaries at all levels.
Your excellency ;PLEASE find time to call a meeting of OYO STATE STAKEHOLDERS and resolve all lingering problems stated above to give you a clear ground in OYO STATE for 2027 elections at all levels.
Your excellency,please don’t delegate this intervention..
OYO APC is critical to your 2027 success.
Please don’t take OYO STATE APC for granted.
There is pain,hunger,suffering and despondency at all levels in OYO APC.Any one that tells you otherwise about OYO APC at this time is misleading you .I am an insider with my own structure.
Ominous clouds are gathering.
Please intervene today.
Not tomorrow.
Finally,your excellency SIR,I wish you good health and longevity in your arduous tasks of repositioning NIGERIA on all fronts.IT IS not easy to lead NIGERIA.
