Leading stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State are working tirelessly for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of 2027.

The leaders, which included the Atayese of Fiditi, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi popularly called OPA, former senate leader, Teslim Folarin, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli among others were at the the unity rally, held at multiple locations across Ibadan on Monday.

In his comment at the rally, Teslim Folarin, who also is the Ambassador for the Renewed Hope Agenda in Oyo State, said the Federal Constituency Tour, organized by the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in collaboration with the Oyo APC, was designed to strengthen cohesion, rebuild confidence within party structures, and lay a solid foundation for disciplined mobilisation ahead of the polls.

He described Ibadan as the political nerve centre of the Southwest and must prove its strength in 2027 just like it did in 2027.

In her remarks, wife of the former Oyo state governor, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi urged party leaders and members to remain united, noting that cohesion and discipline are vital for sustaining APC’s strength in Oyo State.

She added that such engagements provide opportunities to reconnect with the grassroots and consolidate support for President Tinubu.

Senators Buhari, Alli, and Akintunde described the Federal Constituency Tour as timely, saying it has helped rebuild confidence within party structures.

Members of the Olaoluwa political movement also thronged all the rally venue with posters and banners of OPA, who is also one of the 2027 governorship hopeful.
