Makinde/Fayose Face Off: Oyo PDP Stalwart, Oladoja Lambasts Fayose
A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Oyo State, Mogaji Olawale Oladoja on Tuesday descended heavily on a former governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose over his constant attack on Governor Seyi Makinde.
Oladoja, in a statement, expressed continuous surprise to Fayose garulous approach in issues relating to governor Makinde and the government of Oyo State. Oladoja faulted many claims of Fayose’s, noting that a politician of Fayose’s ilk would shout Hosanna today and crucify him tomorrow in as much his daily bread is assured.
He recalled a time the former governor was having issues with former late President Buhari led federal government. He called it many unpainted names, just his friend, Nyesom Wike.
“Fayose in his days was the Alapha and Omega, the lawmaker, executive, and the judiciary, during which time he brought the state to its knees. Oladoja added that the people of Ekiti State would not quickly forget how the former governor turned the state legislators to tools on his hands.
“At a time, Fayose led political thugs to beat up a judge during a court session, this was a record breaking event as no one before Fayose or after him has never done that before or even till today.
“It’s a surprise that Fayose can still come out badly to castigate a working governor like people loved governor in Oyo state, when during his time at Ekiti, democracy was on trial in its real sense, workers were owned compared to Makinde’s regular 25th pay day in the last six years.
“He keeps hobnobbing with APC as if his life depends on crunches he’s picking on their tables. Fayose should seek forgiveness from many lives he killed with his non payment of salaries and leave Governor Seyi Makinde alone to concentrate on governance.
