“I’m Ready To Support The Choice Of Ijebu People,” Governor Abiodun Assures on New Awujale Candidate
The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has disclosed that he’s ready to support whichever candidate emerges from the process of selecting a new Awujale.
Abiodun stated this at a parley with the Awujale Chiefs in Council held at Iperu Residence of the Governor.
He emphasised the need to avoid a vacuum on the throne and charged the kingmaker to ensure a transparent, fair, and rancour free process that gives equal opportunity to all contestants.
The governor commended the unity and commitment demonstrated by the Awujale Chiefs in Council and reaffirmed absolute confidence in their integrity.
