Ibadan Gas Explosion: Olaoluwa Commiserates Victims Families
The President, Peter Olaoluwa Foundation, (POF), Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi popularly called OPA has commiserated with the families of the victims of an explosion that occurred at Bioku-Alaadun area of Ibadan, Ona Ara local government on Friday night.
Olaoluwa, a 2027 governorship aspirant in Oyo State through a release by his media office, described the explosion as unavoidable if necessary safety measures had been in place before the incident that claimed lives and destroyed properties.
He called on relevant stakeholders to synergise on the need for all the operators of gas plants to comply with health and safety and environment standards.
“Everyone must take this obligation seriously as a measure to forestall avoidable loss of lives, destruction of assets and disruption of public life in the future,” Olaoluwa explained.
Lamenting the unfortunate incident in his statement, the Chartered Accountant turned politician condoled the families of the victims of the gas explosion and prayed that God would comfort and strengthen them to bear the cost of the incident.
“My heart is with the families of those who suffered mild and irredeemable fatalities due to the gas explosion. I pray that God comforts and strengthens you all.
