House of Reps Aspirant, Erubami Sets Agenda For New Defence.Minister

A 2027 House of Reps aspirant, Moshood Erubami, has welcomed and sets new agenda for the newly appointed Minister of Defence with serious cautionary warnings.

Erubami, the President and Convener of the Nigeria Voters Assembly VOTAS) warned the new Defence Minister, rtd. General Christopher Musa against the possible landmines that might be set on his way too, by sponsors of Boko Haram insurgency, ISWA Terrorists and the more deadly Bandits emphasizing that such landmines might possibly be targeted to halt his cheering promises to Nigerians , the National Assembly and the Commander – in – Chief through stronger approaches to seriously tackle the menace of the activities of evil criminals who are killing and destroying the properties of innocent Nigerians.

Comrade Erubami described the evil forest groups as a serious threat to the Asiwaju Tinubu renewed hope agenda including the general development policy initiatives under the agenda therefore calling on the Minister to jump down, running with determined progressively crimes crushing programs that will target puting an end to all acts of kidnappings, banditry and rural destruction of Agricultural lands with the produce on the farms including burning of houses and killing of innocent occupants.

Comrade Erubami the President of the democracy coalition, CODIN, urged the Minister to immediately look inwards to immediately check through the desperations of officials who are bent on making economic gains in the course of implementing actions meant to fastal the escalations of all criminal acts so as to Strengthen and making the armed forces accountable and increase their capacity for improved intelligence gathering .

Suggestions were made to the Ministry under the Minister of Defense to flush old forces who are not useful for the forces, fashion a new increased start off wages, and initiating welfare material wealth for those active forces to encourage them to fight the menace of the terrorists gangsterism, reminding the Minister about what will underscore successes in his strides should include strong political will and providing adequate resources for prosecuting the wars.

Comrade Erubami reiterated the needs for the Minister to be vigilant at all times he is inside his office or outside to inspect operations at the frontage of the theatre of war ensuring that intelligence information are secretly and strategically passed thriugh loyal forces and strictly guiding against insiders instigated ambush operations against his forces on the land, sea and air.

“Nigeria forces must never be found retreating under any circumstances but be proactive at all times chasing the insurgents and kidnappers out of sight into the bushes and beyond, neutralizing them in their dozens and hundreds”

There must be constant checks by the Minister on the nationwide armoury holdings for adequacy and compliance with modern warfare with the view to making provisions for material replenishments and renewal.

The new Minister according to Erubami, should initiate new programs of actions to manage ongoing political and ethnic pressures through being independent, working in concert with the other forces and prioritizing national security interests.The Minister was advised to maintain a balanced Security and Human Rights regime towards ensuring the operations of policies that respect human dignity and rights.

Comrade Erubami, a Marxist Lennistleaderer of the human rights group and a progressive politician, urged the newly appointed Minister to move his ministries to work differently, collaborating with agencies, police, and other stakeholders. foster

Comrade Erubami, a pro-democracy activist, further advised the new minister to immediately take policy steps that will foster regional cooperation and collaboration with neighbouring countries to tackle and halt transnational threats
Finally, Erubami cautioned that in reestablishing a new security architectural infrastructure, good steps should be taken to work with Civil Society Groups working in collaboration with the International Community to set a new doable agenda for terrorism prevention towards creating integrated security reduction campaigns at local and state levels.
