“Emlokan”, Former Minister, Shittu Declares He’s The Most Experienced Oyo politician
Former Nigeria Minister Bayo Shittu has declared that he’s the next Oyo state governor, considering his experience in politics.
Shittu stated this while featuring on Melody FM, Ibadan Sunday Afternoon political programme tagged ” Oselu Awarawa” on Sunday afternoon.
Shittu explained that it’s the turn of the Oke Ogun people, and it’s also its turn to become the governor of Oyo State.
“I’m 100 per cent confident that APC will take over oyo’s government house. The APC gave victory to makinde in 2023 because of his involvement in tinubu’s campaign.
“Makinde has no chance in apc if he chooses to join.
It’s my turn to be Oyo state governor. I’m the most senior in oyo politics. I have 47 years of experience in politics. There has been no one in the party with such experience. I’m also from Oke Ogun, which qualifies me to be a gov. The right thing is for Ibadan to allow non indigene to be gov.
I’m the only one with manifestos among all the guber candidates in Oyo state. There will be free education and free health for all. I have seven cardinal programmes.
“There will be job opportunities for all. Attention will be paid to agriculture. Greater Ibaadan devt commission to develop Ibadan.
“There will also be railways across the state to ease transportation.”
