Atayese of Fiditi Felicitates Olubadan, Oba Ladoja on Sun Awards
The Atayese of Fiditi, Chief Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi, popularly called OPA, has congratulated rhe Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, on honours conferred on him by The Sun Newspapers.
In a statement signed by his media office in Ibadan, Olaoluwa said Oba Ladoja won the Sun Lifetime Achievement Award due to his pedigree and contributions not only to the state but the country.
OPA said that Olubadanโs award recognised his purposeful leadership, people-centred rulership, and consistent democratic values and uniting traditional institutions in the state. He cited his cultural leadership, peace building, wisdom, and enduring contributions to Ibadanland.
It added that Oba Ladojaโs lifelong commitment to public service, politics, and the traditional institution exemplified humility, statesmanship, and sacrifice while fostering harmony and development. The accountant turned politician wished Oba Ladoja continued wisdom, good health, and greater service to humanity and Oyo State.
