2027: Newly Installed OPELUWA Of Ogun State, ANIMASHAUN Rallies Support for Tinubu, Yayi
The newly installed OPELUWA of Ogun State and Araba Isese of Ogun State, Chief Ifakuregbe Ifalekun Olajide Ibraheem Animashaun has called for intensified grassroots mobilisation and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the governorship ambition of Senator Adeola Olamilekan Yayi ahead of the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.
Animashaun made this call at his installation ceremony as the new OPELUWA of Ogun State Traditional Healers Association (OSTHA), held at Ijebu Ode over the weekend.
The association which is a registered body with the government is established to ensure quality and effective practice of traditional medicine by trained and skilled practitioners so as to complement the effort of other medical personnel in a formal secror.
Animashaun, while addressing members and guests at the installation, said the association would also be committed to promoting quality leadership, inclusive governance, and national development through strategic community engagement by its leaders and entire members.
He noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration provides a pathway for economic growth, infrastructural development and national prosperity and its important to deepening participation by groups and associations like OSTHA at the grassroots and mobilising support for progressive governance that prioritises the welfare of the people.
He added that members should also support Senator Yayi’s governorship aspiration in Ogun State through sustained engagement with youths, professionals, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
The Araba Isese of Ogun State explained that Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola has performed excellently well in the areas of Ademokoya described grassroots development and mobilisation which has helped in building a more inclusive political structure capable of driving transformational leadership and sustainable development.
He assured that members of OSTHA would continued to mobilise residents across Ogun State for Tinubu and Yayi as 2027 election continues to draw near and also advocate for progressive leadership and citizen participation in governance, while strengthening support structures for the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda nationwide.
In his comment at the event, the National President, Progressive Frontiers for Good Governance, High Chief Akinwale Awaiye Balogun commended the giant strides of the new OPELUWA of Ogun State in his philanthropy gesture in the state and beyond.
Balogun urged all members to team up with OPELUWA to ensure that more recognition is given to the administration by the government and relevant stakeholders.
