Four Students, School Principal, NECO Staff, Abducted By Kidnappers in Kogi
Kogi State Police Command has confirmed six people abducted during NECO examination at Government Secondary School, Olowa in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.
A statement by the Kogi State Command’s Police Public Relation officer, ASP Salihu Oyiza Afusat says, four students, the school principal, and NECO adhoc staff, were abducted by the attackers.
The statement says, the combined team of the Police and other security agencies, immediately launched a search-and-rescue operation and is currently on the trail of the attackers.
It further adds that so far, one of the abducted students has been rescued while efforts are ongoing, to rescue the remaining victims and apprehend the perpetrators.
