The Deputy Director-General, SouthWest of the APC Support Group Council, Hon Adewale Adeogun and the Ogun State Coordinator of the council, Lekan Shobo Shobowale on Thursday participated in the APC governorship direct primary election across Ogun State.
At the exercise, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi was overwhelmingly affirmed as the governorship candidate of the party for the 2027 general election.
Speaking with journalists at the colation centre at the party secretariat, Abiola way, Abeokuta, Adeogun said the exercise was peaceful, transparent, orderly, and a true reflection of the unity and internal democratic strength of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State.
He commended members.of the party, leaders, stakeholders, electoral officials, and security agencies for their commitment to ensuring a successful process across the state.
He then congratulated Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi on his emergence and assured him of the council commitment to work assiduously for his electoral victory next year.
