PDP Convention: “Fayose Is An Expired Politician, Wike, An APC Errand Boy” – Oladoja
A Chieftain of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Oyo State chapter, Mogaji Olawale Oladoja has described former Ekiti Sate Governor, Peter Ayo Fayose as an expired politician who is no longer relevant in today’s politics in the country.
Oladoja stated this while addressing journalists in Ibadan on Tuesday over the the coming National convention of PDP.
Oladoja, a close ally of the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde explained that Nigerians should no longer pay attention to utterances of people like Fayose as their time has already been spent out and outlive their relevance.
He said the planned Convention of the party will go on as scheduled without any hitches or hindrance from any quarters not even from people like Ayo Fayose .
“Sometimes I’m surprised with so much attention and comments that always trail any words or statement by Fayose especially on political matters. Fayose is a spent politician, he’s no longer relevant in today’s politics. He’s no longer needed or his counsels necessary at this time.
I want to call on Nigerians to shift attention from Fayose to other relevant politicians around so as to stop him from continuous rantling. He doesn’t worth it, I can tell you that for free.
“Politicians like Ayo Fayose should be discarded like a tissue paper. How will a former governor of a party for eight years be castigating the party that gave him such uncommon grace? It’s indeed heartbreaking and sad. Nothing that such a man will say can be taken serious.”
Commenting on Nigeria Minister of Federal Capital Territory, (FCT), Nyesom Wike disregard for the party, Oladoja described Wike as “a.senior erand boy of the ruling APC.”
He assured that with the Ibadan court pronouncement, the convention will hold as already scheduled.
Oladoja urged members of the party to come out in their large numbers to fully participate in the Convention.
He commended the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde for his outstanding leadership towards the hosting of the convention.
Mogaji Olawale Oladoja then called on the National Working Committee of the PDP to immediately sanction Minister Wike and other erring members of the party so as to serve as deterrent to others.
He assured all members of the PDP who will be participating in the convention of adequate security of lives and property, adding that there won’t be any loose end or holes for anybody or group of people to forment trouble during the convention.
