Ibadan Authentic Mogajis Congratulates Oba Ladoja As The 44th Olubadan
The leadership and members of Authentic Mogajis of Ibadanland has congratulate the Olubadan designate, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The group in a release through its spokesperson, Mogaji Olawale Sulaimon Oladoja said it indeed gladdens the heart of members of the group to witnessed the development.
The group recognises Oba Ladoja’s long time leadership qualities, his commitment and love for the people of Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigeria and expressed assurance that the reign of Oba Ladoja will be fruitful for all.
Authentic Mogaji’s of Ibadanland appreciated the late Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, who passed away on Monday, July 7 and was buried on August 8, 2025 for his service for the people and promotion of peace and tranquility while his kingship lasted.
The group stated that in truth, honesty and fairness, Oba Ladoja is coming into the rhrone with high pedigree of experience the wealth of experience which he has accumulated over the years as a successful businessman, farmer, former Senator and former governor of Oyo State.
Authentic Mogaji’s of Ibadanland while assuring Oba Ladoja of their consistent support appeal to Oba Ladoja to continue in the reformation and repositioning of Ibadan traditional system especially appointment of Mogajis and Baales across Ibadanland.
It expressed optimism that Ibadanland will continue to wax stronger under the leadership of Oba Ladoja and all forms of anti societal tendencies would no longer be encouraged across Ibadanland, calling on all Ibadan sons and daughters to support the new monarch.
The group thanked members of Olubadan traditional council for speedy nomination and also congratulated the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for timely approval.
